The Dark Matter Surf Spinning Rod has been a long time in the making. We wanted to create a surf rod that would live up to the standards of the Dark Matter brand. What we came up with is a 10′ rod constructed of Dark Matter Nano Carbon that is lightweight so you can fish it all day or night, and that has a powerful back end so you can turn fish if necessary. The Dark Matter Surf Rod has a slower taper than other surf rods and is great for fishing pencil poppers and regular poppers. It also excels with bucktails, tins, diamond jigs and other surf lures. These tangle free guides will deliver longer casts than Alconite guides and the gun smoke frames look really good.
