Aluminum is softer than rock, so it grips with each step instead of slips. Our aluminum cuts through the slime, but it grips the rock! Safe for rafts and kayaks, doesn’t really hurt fiberglass (though a mat is recommended).
All of the kits come with everything needed to assure a lifelong hold of Rock Treads discs to any shoe or boot, no matter the brand. This pack is for normal boots like Patagonia, Orvis, Simms, etc. Not to be used on removable sole boots like Korkers.Not to be used on bootfoot waders, they will leak.
