The SMHAEN half-hitch tool is a quick and easy way to tie off your fly without having to pick up another tool to cut the thread. It works great for throwing a few half-hitches in during your tying process as well. They’re ergonomically designed to fit nicely in your hand with a conveniently placed cutter trigger when you need to cut the thread. They come in three sizes: Midge (hooks sizes smaller than #18), Regular (hook sizes from #18 up to #8) and Large (hooks larger than #8 but it taps out around 2/0). NOTE: Hook models and eye sizes vary, so when in doubt go larger.
